THE NEW GOOGLE’S 46 CAMERA LIGHT FIELD VIDEO

Photography and video is a hobby for some, entertainment for others and profession for many more.

 The niche has always given us the latest news and trends all the time. With the advancement of technology, the conventional way of photography and video has also changed. From DSLR and compact camera to mirror less camera, there has been much development in digital photography and video. You can check out the latest news in Hindi related to these developments on Awrighting.com.

Google, our dear Google, has also come up with a new and exciting tool in this regard. As per the latest news, Google plans to turn conventional photography and video more fascinating with its 3D video framework.

Google’s 3D video plan is designed to make the viewers change their perspective and take a look around at all the objects in the frame. The plan is officially designated as Google’s light field videos. Whether it be the latest news in Hindi, English, French, Spanish or other languages, Google’s light field video news is enticing everyone.

The plan was presented at SIGGRAPH, (Special Interest Group on Computer graphics and Interactive Techniques), an annual conference on computer graphics (CG) organized by the ACM SIGGRAPH. The most unique part of Google’s light field videos is that makes use of footage from dozens of camera, all of them shooting simultaneously. According to the latest news, all these perspectives are blended together in one eye. So the user just has to move his viewpoint and the scene shall react accordingly in real-time.

Seems cool huh? Well, there is more to this latest news so let’s dive into the details of the features of Google’s light field videos:

The central aim is to view the world around via a single eye and so close that it seems merely a few centimeters away;

Being a 3D video technique, these videos are high- definition (HD). Awright.com has its complete coverage under its ‘latest news in Hindi’ banner;

The provision to change the viewpoint gives these videos a touch of reality;

Google’s light field videos are way better than the current popular VR- enhanced video. While Google’s videos allow movement of perspective, the VR enhanced video uses ordinary stereoscopic 3D that does not allow a change in viewpoint.

Talking about freedom of movement in Google videos, you get the opportunity to move your head to other sides to get a sneak peek at different sides of an object;

Herein the images are photorealistic, 3D and full-motion;

Even minute changes are reflected so accurately that you can stop enjoying each sight;

Another amazing feature of the newly developed Google 3D video technique is that it has a wide rig because of which no part remains hidden. Whatever gets covered from one angle can be easily seen from the other;

Recall watching a 3D movie in a theatre with those black glasses... well in Google light videos you witness something similar. When you move from far right to the far left side and then zoom in, you shall experience absolutely new features. Perhaps that is why Google’s videos are breaking out as the most read latest news in Hindi, English and all other languages around the globe;

To have a demo of Google’s 3D light free videos, you just need Chrome and an experimental web platform. For more instruction you may visit the official website;

This experiment lies closely to Google’ LED Egg model, developed last year. It has been created for volumetric capture of human emotion;

Google’s video can be smoothly rendered on VR/AR platforms as well as in web browsers;

In the official paper presentation of Google’s videos in SIGGRAPH, the developers call it a “system for capturing, reconstructing, compressing, and rendering high quality immersive light field video”.  The paper also mentioned a few necessary characteristics kept in mind before developing this technique:

1) Capability to record six-degree-of-freedom (6 DOF) content with a relatively sparse array of video cameras

(2) View synthesis within a viewing volume diameter of around 70 cm for a wide 180◦ or greater field of view, for a comfortable view, while being seated

(3) A reasonable offering of view-dependent scene content

(4) Visually stable results with a change in viewpoint in both space and time

(5) A compressible representation appropriate for playback on consumer VR and AR hardware

Well then, it becomes obligatory to appreciate Google’s AI as it is advancing day by day, letting its users enjoy fresh, unique, and exciting features
